Krissy Cook will join St. Peter Catholic School this year as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. After many years of volunteering at SPS as a committee chair, Parent Association board member, and room mom, she is excited to begin a new adventure as she returns to the classroom. Born and raised in New Orleans, Krissy attended Catholic schools from third grade through college. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Counseling from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and later returned to earn her teaching certification. She spent several years teaching third, fourth, and fifth grades and has professional experience working with children from infancy through high school. Most recently, Krissy served as the Youth Development Director for a local nonprofit organization. She is passionate about lifelong learning and enjoys writing, traveling, listening to music, birdwatching, and rope-dropping the Disney parks. Krissy is excited to be part of the St. Peter Catholic School community in this new role and looks forward to supporting students as they learn and grow.
