Taylor Perez

Taylor Perez is joining St. Peter Catholic School in August 2025 as a Kindergarten teacher. She grew up in St. Bernard Parish and then relocated to Covington in 2005. Her husband, Dylan, and their two boys, Brady and Tanner, just recently moved back to Covington after spending over a decade in Baton Rouge where she taught in various school settings; both public and private. Taylor earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University in Elementary Education. This will be her 9th year teaching; all 9 years of which are in the lower elementary grades where she has the most passion for. She strives to create a supportive and loving environment for her students where they can grow strong in their academics, and their relationship with Christ and one another. Her goal as a teacher is for every student to have a personal relationship with the Lord, and to have the confidence and motivation to be a life long learner. She feels that the Catholic community of St. Peter is very special and she is excited to be joining us this Fall.
