Lauren Johnson

Mrs. Lauren Johnson is the Dean of Academics for Upper Elementary, 4th - 7th grades, and has been a faculty member of St. Peter Catholic School since 2008. Throughout the years, she has served in a variety of roles including 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher, 3rd grade teacher, Media Center Specialist, Technology Coordinator, and St. Peter Rock’n’ettes Dance Team coach.  Lauren was raised in Covington and is an alumna of St. Peter Catholic School and St. Scholastica Academy.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University in 2007 and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Louisiana State University in 2008.  As Dean of Academics, she partners with teachers, students, and parents to foster a love of learning rooted in our Catholic faith and feels blessed to witness students grow in knowledge and virtue.

Mrs. Lauren Johnson and her husband, David, have one son, Jacob.  She enjoys dancing, reading, and spending time with her family.  Lauren is grateful to serve the same school community that nurtured her own Catholic faith, values, and academic foundation.
