Jessica Aucoin

Jessica Aucoin joined St. Peter Catholic School in 2009 as a PreK teacher. She was born in Hammond, Louisiana and raised in st. Bernard Parish. She earned a Bachelors from University of New Orleans. Jessica taught 7th and 8th grade Religion at St. Robert Bellarmine until Hurricane Katrina. After that, Jessica and her family moved to the North Shore, and she started teaching at Shining Star Preschool. In 2009, Jessica accepted a PreK position at St. Peter. In 2012, Jessica began teaching in the Key Cottage program and has been there ever since. She loves teaching the 3 year olds because she gets to be part of the children’s first school experience and loves creating a classroom environment where the children feel safe, loved and excited to learn!
